It sounds like this is more of a mechanic
to allow more cross-server grouping (in the form of current raids - i may be
mistaken but you cant battletag invite for them currently) while also allowing
guilds to form cross server instead of the constant server transfer shuffle of
the wandering raider. buy
cheapest WoW gold Combining AHs caps it off by bringing a bigger economy
together, as it suffers when on a small pop realm. it will not like this will
work a lot like CRZ just with no restrictions and including it in the town and
stuff. AH data and other systems are not impacting the max players a realm can
hold.
I get the concept, but not the
solution. cheapest World of Warcraft
gold It's obvious, even to Blizzard,
that the low pop realms are suffering extremely to the point they're going out
of their way to do this change, essentially making many low pop realms one
realm for all intents and purposes.
Why waste the resources developing an entirely new method for those people to play together instead of just massive mergers? Frankly, "I don't want to lose my name" is a minor complaint compared to "My server is completely dead." "I can't find anyone to guild, raid, dungeon with." and "The economy is horrible on my dead server."
Because they can adapt on the fly? Buy cheap WoW account Move additional servers in without any big
fan-fare or griping about loss of a realm. You keep your realm --
everything stays the same, just more ppl show up.
But if they merge servers, then a few
months down the road people will still be transferring, thus shifting the
balance again. Virtual realms would make it so you can be on whatever server
you want, as long as it is in the realm that you want ot be able to
guild/group/AH on.
I think this is smarter than server merges,
and does alleviate the issue of "What about my name?" which is far
greater a game killer than you think for most people.
mergers only are short time solution the
problems will not go away they just need keep merging that servers to a point,
Maybe it will fix the problem for a little but after a while it will be back
where they started. Less choice for players and it will force people with slow
internet connection to play on big realms. This seems like a dynamic server
merger that can be controlled and seems to be the best idea out of Blizzard
yet!
